JOURNAL

Roberta’s writing is shaped by urgent conversations about the future of architecture, economics, and socio-environmental justice, and by her lived experience working alongside communities across the Amazon, Africa, and other regions. Through her essays, she reflects on regenerative practices, exploring how architecture can foster resilience, adaptability, and reciprocal relationships with the natural world. She is particularly interested in recognising forms of intelligence often overlooked by dominant systems, those embedded in land, culture, and collective memory, and in understanding how they can guide more regenerative and just ways of building and living.
